This past October Hurricane Epsilon spun off Bermuda sending pulses of long period swell to the East Coast. With an epic October weekend outlook for days ahead the Delaware beaches buzzed with Local Heros, Seasonal Surf Fishers and Weekend Warriors looking to soak up one of the last warm beach days of the fall. Longtime Zap Alumni Jason Wilson and Bill Baxter were poised and ready with their winch, finding a sweet strip of sand along the shore. As the tide came up and the wind went west everything came together including Delaware photographer Neil Douigherty walking by with his long lense capturing the wavers below.
